100% smoke free

For safety, cleaning and health purposes and to avoid unpleasant smells, smoking tobacco, drugs or any other kind of substance is not allowed on our premises. This rule isn’t intended to stop guests smoking but simply to control where they can do so. Lighting incense, candles or any kind of oil or synthetic material is also not allowed for safety reasons.

Preparation of food and drinks

Casablu is a heritage building made of wood. For the safety of our guests, staff and the building itself, preparing food and drinks using electric devices or fuel is prohibited in areas other than those approved by the hotel. The dining area has an electric oven that is available 24 hours a day and there are also kettles and water dispensers available there and on the top floor.

Check-out procedure

Check-out is at midday. Please check-out at reception so that our housekeeping staff can clean your room as soon as possible. If you need a late check-out, please contact reception before your departure day so we can do everything possible to meet this request. A charge may apply for late check-outs.

Right to refuse service

We want everyone to have an enjoyable stay at Casablu Hotel. We reserve the right to refuse service due to anything that goes against Casablu’s reasonable house rules. Service will be refused or guests asked to leave if they refuse to pay for their accommodations, if they’re under the influence of alcohol, drugs or any kind of toxic substance or if they act in a way that disturbs other guests.

Quiet time 10 P.M. to 8 A.M.

If a guest is making too much noise, please phone reception immediately or go there in person. Televisions, voices or other devices should be kept at a reasonable volume at all times. Doors should be opened and closed quietly. No running is allowed in corridors and these should not be used for meeting up with people.

Visitors

Reception should be notified of visitors’ arrival. Visitors are not allowed after 10 p.m. and should be accompanied by guests at all times.

Cleaning / Housekeeping

Housekeeping is carried out every day between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Rooms are cleaned and checked daily and a detailed log kept of the service provided.

Changing sheets

Your comfort is very important to us. For guests staying for several nights, bedlinen will be changed every two days unless the guest asks for it to be done daily. Used towels will be changed when the guest leaves these on the floor. If housekeeping can’t change a bed because there are personal items on it, they’ll leave a note for the guest.

Lost and found policy

Casablu cannot be held responsible for valuables that are lost, stolen, damaged or go missing. Any item left behind by our guests that is found by housekeeping – except for perishables and underwear - will be collected, registered and kept in a safe place for up to 30 (thirty) days for the owner to claim.

Alcohol policy

Registered guests who are overage and who bring their own alcoholic beverages must get prior authorization from reception to consume them in their rooms or in common areas.

In case of emergency or fire

Please let reception know if there’s a fire or other kind of emergency. There are clearly indicated emergency exits on each floor of the hotel.

Fire safety policy

The hotel’s staff is trained in the use of the smoke detectors, fire extinguishers and sprinkler systems that are located on each floor.

No parties allowed

Parties and/or causing a nuisance by making too much noise are not allowed on our premises. If there is a disturbance, a warning will be issued asking for the noise to be reduced. If this request is not met, the guest will be asked to leave the hotel and will not be eligible for any kind of refund.

Free WiFi access

Access to our WiFi is free for registered guests. The WiFi code is provided at check-in.

Parking

Casablu Hotel does not have its own parking. During check-in, guests can park opposite the hotel, although CasaBlu cannot be held responsible for anything that happens to vehicles doing so. CasaBlu can, however, recommend parking in the area that guests can book and pay for directly.

Damage to and/or theft of hotel property

Guests are responsible for any kind of damage caused (whether deliberately, negligently or carelessly) to their room(s), hotel facilities or the property itself, either by them or anyone in their group, whether staying at the hotel or not. Casablu reserves the right to hold on to the debit/credit card details provided at check-in and/or to charge guests’ debit/credit card in order to reimburse any costs incurred under these circumstances.

Cancellations

No charges apply if a guest cancels up to 30 days before arrival. If a guest cancels up to 7 days before, 30% of the total booking will be charged and if a guest cancels 24 hours before, on the same day or is a no-show, 100% of the booking will be charged.

Advance charges

A charge equivalent to 30% of the total booking will be made 20 days before arrival and 70% will be charged 5 days before. If a booking is made less that 5 days in advance, 50% of the total will be charged when booking and the remaining 50% at check-in.
